Ollie Ford has been involved in the web industry since 2003 and has turned his fledgling web design company into a successful business, concentrating on design-led sites that stand out from the dreary drudgery that's so often passed off as web 'design'.
OllieFord+Co is a progression of that company, bringing together trusted specialists with complimentary skills such as graphic design, logo design & branding, copy writing, print production and more with a proven reputation for providing excellent work on time, on brief and within budget.

What do we do here?
We love making things. We've built on our early foundations and now embrace all sorts of creative stuff. We're not just playing at it either - we employ true experts in their fields who provide top notch work time and time again. Our people really are the bee's knees. Now hear this.
We do web design & development because we know how to build websites that look great and work as they should. We have that rare blend of striking design ability coupled with a proper knowledge of how a website should be built. We code from scratch and don't use those naughty shortcut WYSIWYG editors that produce messy, badly written code.
Or try us for logo design & branding and we'll try our damndest to make you look absolutely gorgeous. Be it a simple logo or a full branding exercise there's nothing we like more than putting on our thinking caps and dragging your shiny new identity out of the backs of our minds.
Flash animation is another trick we have up our sleeve. If plain old HTML isn't for you or maybe you need an eye-catching banner ad made we have the people who have the whizz-bangery talent to get you noticed.
And...
For e-commerce look no further. We've been providing clients with online stores for years. We can offer anything from simple PayPal enabled pages to fully integrated payment solutions for serious, professional e-tailers.
Or what about photography? As well as access to hundreds of thousands of stock images we can provide professional photographic services to really give your project the unique look it might need.
Copy writing is another thing we're really good at. Expertly written, professional search engine biased content can be written for your website as well as copy for your publications, articles and so on. We can also help with AdWords campaigns and email marketing so if you need people to find you, it's lucky you found us!
The client:
The Community Host,
a specialist hosting company providing bespoke managed hosting of social networking platforms.
What we did:
We designed a new corporate logo and brand identity for the Community Host. The work resulted in several logo versions for different applications as well as brand guidelines to be followed in situations outside of our remit.
The client:
Zero Point Two,
a design led furniture and interiors specialist.
What we did:
We made Oliver at Zero Point Two a clean and simple static website incorporating several image galleries and a nifty scrolling script that means more text can fit on the page without breaking the fixed height design. It's also got a nice animated Flash into page.
The site was based on Oliver's original design which we tweaked and cleaned up to create a sharp, professional online presence for the company.
The client:
Grantley,
a Surrey based estate agency.
What we did:
Grantley needed a website that they could use to update their available property list. Clients can search the site for their ideal home, download pdf's of the property details (as well as view online) and sign up to Grantley's newsletter.
We worked on this project in conjunction with Miller & Team - Peta created the design, we did the code.
The client:
Karen Jones, Illustrator,
an artist and illustrator working from her Chelmsford studio.
What we did:
We made Karen a CMS (content management system) website with an easy to update image gallery to show off her work. She likes it a lot and thinks we're the best!
The client:
Revolvart,
an anglo-french independent record label.
What we did:
Al and the team at Revolvart needed a bespoke website that gave a flavour of what they're about. Their site can be content managed by themselves when they want to add new mp3's or videos, add to the multiple image galleries, send their newsletter or just change the words on the pages. We created a logo for their brand and designed a bespoke skin for their CMS.
The client:
The Cathedral School,
a Chelmsford primary school.
What we did:
We gave the Cathedral School a CMS website with events calendar, multiple image galleries, download areas, secure pages for the governors & a newsletter extension. The design is based on an existing template which we edited to fit with the school's identity.

The Power Saving Company,
a Chelmsford based energy services company.
What we did:
First of all we designed a logo for the company and then followed that up with a simple brochure website along with business cards, compliment slips & letterheads. The site has a call back form that visitors can fill in - Richard at the Power Saving Company then gets an email and gives them a ring. Top service!
The client:
Mint Interiors,
an interior design company specialising in upmarket bespoke interiors.
What we did:
Sally at Mint had clear ideas on how her website should look. We worked with her to create a design based on her requirements and then built an elegant 2 page brochure website with Javascript image galleries. She was very happy about that.
The client:
acanteen,
funky deli & cafe/bistro in Chelmsford.
What we did:
We re-built acanteen's existing site to include downloadable menus and online ordering system. We polished the existing design and cleaned up the code and now you can eat your dinner off it. Sorry.
The client:
LM Flooring,
a bespoke flooring contractor.
What we did:
Luis at LM Flooring just needed a straightforward brochure website so that's what we made for him. It has a Javascript image gallery to show the sort of things they do and that's about it. A nice clean site.
The client:
Serious Carping,
a specialist angling supplies company based in Essex.
What we did:
We built a completey bespoke ecommerce website for the chaps at Serious Carping. Bespoke in terms of both the design and the functionality. It uses the PayPal checkout system making things easy for everyone. We also design and print marketing material for Serious Carping on a regular basis.
The client:
Your Safari,
a Surrey based safari holiday specialist.
What we did:
Kathryn of Your Safari contacted us in need of website that would attract new clients and stand out from her competitors. This we produced for her and her business has gone from strength to strength. So much so that she feels the time has come to rebrand Your Safari to match the level it now occupies in the market. A new website's going to be required and guess who she's coming to for that?

Applepips,
a Chelmsford based pre-school.
What we did:
We made the ladies at Applepips a bespoke image based brochure website to publicise their nursery school. This includes a simple to use text editor so they can keep things up to date.
The client:
Design by Dukes,
an Essex based freelance graphic designer.
What we did:
Claire Dukes asked us for a simple CMS website so that's what we made for her. Now Claire can add to her portfolio and update her blog with tremendous ease!
The client:
Carters Bespoke Flooring,
a specialiast hardwood flooring restoration and installation company.
What we did:
for Carters we built a static website with Javascript image gallery & contact form. We provided Google AdWords management and also designed and printed their business cards.

MNC marketing,
a Chelmsford marketing company.
What we did:
A marketing company coming to us for their website marketing. How about that? Actually we work closely with a lot of marketing and design agencies and MNC are no exception. We made them a nifty sliding website and now they're very happy bunnies.

Pure Soccer,
an online youth football magazine.
What we did:
The work we did for Pure Soccer included a bespoke CMS website with paid-for user subscriptions and animated virtual magazine. Visitors can sign up on the site and get access to the subscription only digital magazine.

Improve-ability,
business improvement specialists.
What we did:
In collaboration with our good friends Izatt Graphics we embarked upon a company branding exercise and built a clean, elegant website for Norman and his team at Improve-ability. Office stationery and business cards were also designed and produced to complete the new image.
The client:
Charlton Park Rugby Club,
south-east London amateur rugby club.
What we did:
Taking Peta of Miller & Team's design we crafted a seamless skin for the new website's CMS. The site functionality includes fixtures and league tables, multiple calendars and image galleries as well as a slideshow and various download areas.

David March Golf,
a professional golf coach based in Chelmsford.
What we did:
We designed a new logo for David and built him a bespoke CMS website incorporating a front page image slideshow, latest news ticker and a cool module that lists his news articles automatically. In addition there is a simple shopping cart with PayPal checkout.

World Spider Monkey,
a specialist holiday company for students and backpackers.
What we did:
We made World Spider Monkey a smashing new logo for their infant company. The brief was to create something that was fun without being overly comical. It needed to keep a sense of professionalism while appealling to a young audience. A website is in the pipeline and then... the world!
